Wayang Retreat was built with infinite love and passion by a family who resided there for 5 years before opening it as a rental for others to enjoy the beauty, charm, and tranquility of their home.

The name of the retreat, "Wayang" is a traditional Indonesian shadow puppet.

Each room features a different wayang. The property has four different types of antique wooden houses from the main island of Java, and the guesthouses (rooms) are all samples of Indonesian architecture, some of which are more than 100 years old.

In the lush garden areas are over 100 different species of plants and trees, along with Koi fish in the pond. The retreat remains home to the family's beloved Bali dog, Tippy.

A lot of thought, care, and personal touch was put into visualising and building this retreat, and we hope you feel all that love and joy during your stay.
